If you had bothered to ask me, you would know that I was planning to have it paid into my tax-free offshore account in the Channel Islands, not England. There should be a blank line between section f and section g. The Commissioner of Oath's signature appears to be written upside down. In the bottom right-hand corner of the document is a blue stamp saying "Confirmed by Chief Justice Jenkins Diala. Date........" However, there is nothing written in the "Date" line to say when he confirmed it. In the paragraph below that, the word "Esq" should be after "Adams Smith" instead of "Smith Chambers". In section c, you wrote "Accra Ghana" with a space as opposed to the the hyphenated "Accra-Ghana" that you use everywhere else. Which version is correct? In section d, the phrase "with reference to the next of kin" is meaningless and should be deleted since Mrs Eyadema is already President Eyadema's next of kin and doesn't need to refer anything to herself. The document goes straight from section d to section f without any section e. Section f refers to "the oaths act of 1963". Firstly, "Oaths Act" is a proper name and should have initial capital letters. More importantly, this is a Ghanaian law. Since we are dealing with an international transaction between our two countries, the affidavit needs to be valid under Ghanaian and British laws. You need to extend this section so that it also includes the relevant British act. At the bottom of the document, the phrase "Commissioner of Oath" should be "Commissioner of Oaths". I have already mentioned that he has signed his name upside down. However, on turning the paper round to read his signature, I see that he has only written "Stephen" and nothing more. Make sure he signs his full name next time and that he is holding the paper the right way up. I hope these minor corrections don't take up too much of your time. If you had bothered to ask me, you would know that I was planning to have it paid into my tax-free offshore account in the Channel Islands, not England. ++ Section g refers to "the oaths act of 1963". Firstly, "Oaths Act" is a proper name and should have initial capital letters. More importantly, this act is a Ghanaian law. Since we are dealing with an international transaction between our two countries, the affidavit needs to be valid under Ghanaian and British laws.
