ATTN: CEO
Dear,
I wish to solicit your help in migrating to your country and invest my fund. Briefly, I'm Mrs Grace BUTUMA from Sierra-Leonean. The wife of late Dr MAXWELL BUTUMA.Until his death, my husband was the General overseerof diamond mine Kanema region (Sierra Leone). The military forces loyal to the government of the AHMED TIJAN KABBAH invaded the diamond mine and they assassinated my husband with some other goverment officials, when the news reached me.I hurriedly gathered some valuables in our family villa and escaped for my dear life in the company of my children VICTOR and JOY.

Among the valuables was a file that contained details of a deposit my husband made in a SECURITY COMPANY here in Abidjan Cote d'Ivoire,he deposited 15.5 millions US dollars, the money was made from gold and diamonds during his time as the general overseer.

Now I am in Abidjan to verify the transaction with the Security Company ,I need your assistance to move this funds out of this country Cote d'Ivoire for investment in your country, as we can not invest here due to the political crises here that may cause to war,and also we can not invest this huge amount of money here in Africa to avoid any tress to the money. I ask you to scout for a viable and lucrative business so that we can invest wisely.
I have it in mind to give you 10% of the total sum of US 15.5 million dollars) for share in any investment we will embark upon if you assist us. I will also set aside 5% of the fund for ancillary expenses which you may incur in course of this transaction.

This fortune I have revealed to you should remain confidential as it is only you whom I have told about it.The phone number above have been acquired for this transactions that your message will be confidentially received receipt of this message for further directives.E_ mailed me through the mail above.
Note : that this transaction is risk free. You are by the reason of this fax requested to forward your banking particulars to me, in order to have this fund transferred into your account. Please i am urgently waiting to hear from you as soon as you recieve this mail.

Best regards.
MRS GRACE BUTUMA

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

Please accept my condolences in regards to the fate of your late husband.Too many good people like yourself have suffered at the hands of the local militaries and gendarmes in that part of Africa. Thanks be to God you and your children did not meet the same fate.

It is good that you wrote to me as I believe we have a common interest to be served here.I am a businessman in the Republic of Ireland and am looking for an investor to expand my business. You may also know that Ireland is a very friendly country for assylum seekers like yourself. Please do keep this secret as you say as I do not wish to incur any un-necessary tax liabilites and most of all you need to protect yourself and your little children.

I am curious how you came into possession of my email account.I have several business contacts in Africa.Perhaps we have a common aquaintance? Please write back with the particulars that you require and I shall see what I can do when I return from hunting in the Wexford Forest this weekend.

Yours Sincerely,

Seamus O'Paddy

Wed 13 Aug 2003

Dear Mr. Seamus O' Paddy,
I thank you for your message and your encouragement words. I do appreciated how you just openup to me this shows that you are very responsible and honest.
Infact with this I have increased my trust and confidence in you. In brief,I am 36 years old woman and I am prently here with my two children, a boy is presently 22 years old and a girl who is 18 years old now.

I will like you to be aware that this very fund was deposited by my late husband with a security company here as a belonging to his foreign partner and decleard before them that the Box contains Family Valuables which I knew he did for more security reasons and for the security of the fund.

I need your help here in order to use your influence as a foreigner to effect the release of this very box without any further delay or misunderstanding from the security company since my husband deposited the consignment as a belonging to his foreign partner. I want you to represent and play the role of this my late husband foreign partner to help us sign on our behalf the release bond/order of our consignment. I will send you the Certicate of Deposit which the security company's management issued to my late husband the very day he made this deposit for your reconfirmation and to proof our legitemacy. So that you can be able to contact the security company on our behalf to know their release procedures.

Note, that is only YOU and I knows the real content of the box as money! The Security Company only believed that the box contains Family Valuable as my husband decleard.

So for your viewing pleasure and for more confidence building I will send you my family photo. Note that you will arrange for our relocation to your country as soon as the Box is released.
I will like you to please send me your investment idea and suggestion so that I can be able to know how the money will be invested. I will like you to also tell me more about your country'and their culture.
Let me know if your fax numbers are privates and tell me the best time to send you the Certificate of deposit by fax because I dont want it to enter into a wrong hand as is my only hope for a better furture. I will send you the photo following your urgent response.
I will also like you to be calling me on phone any time any day.++22507990110.
I look forward to your earliest response.
May God Bless you and Your family.

Yours sincerely,
Mrs. Butuma & Children

Dear Mrs. Butuma,
It occured to me that I never told you about my business. I am CEO of the Picadily Tart Bakers and Confectioners CO, Inc, LTD. We are a small firm in Clontarf currently employing 297 labourers and distribute our baked goods to the greater Leinster area. We are currently looking to expand our operations and distribution network to the United Kingdom The Netherlands, and Belgium but need investors if we are to become anything other than the small company we are at present We currently have $50 thousand cash on hand but will need something on the order of $1 million to put our plan into action.
I believe our business plan is sound based upon extensive market research. It is rare the young man these days that does not crave the taste of a tart.

Do you think this is something you would be interested in?As for my country it is a friendly place and very prosperous too. You may have heard bad things about it like poverty and terrorism but that is a thing of the past and mostly occurs in the North these days but what can you expect since it is administered by Great Britain? The weather here is usually cool but not very cold even in winter. Quite a difference from your home in the jungle. It rains twice per week: once for 3 days and once for 4. I think you would like it here. Shall I make inquiry with my contacts in the Foreign Office about the possibility of getting political assylum granted for you?

I'm looking forward to your next letter and hopefully getting a picture of you.
Your friend,
Seamus

[I had to change to a new e-mail address because my original free email was losing messages]

Mon Aug 18

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

My old e-mail server has been giving me trouble so I have switched to another mail provider. Please contact me at this address from now on: seamus@xxxxxx.com.Thank you for sending me your picture.I must say that you are a handsome woman. It is hard to believe that someone who looks as young as you can have two adult children. In the picture of your son there is a woman. Is this you or your daughter?I have attached pictures of me and my wife, Bridget. After all your kind words and willingness to show me your picture I feel there is an atmosphere of openness and trust between us so I would like to request that you not be so formal in your letters by calling me "sir".Please feel free to call me by my first name "Seamus".

I have looked into several banks that might be able to handle such a large transfer of foreign funds and have nearly decided on one that we might use.I just need to get some personal references from some friends of mine so that I know I can trust them to keep this business confidential as you requested. This is a large sum of money we are talking about and we need to be careful about who processes this transaction.Don't worry, I only asked general or hypothetical questions and never mentioned your name orAbidjan, Cote d'Ivoire so we are still working on this in secret.

What do you think about my business as related in my earlier writing? We have grown our annual revenues by 25% each year for the last 4 years so I really think it is a recession-proof business. We will add perishables to our product line namely the ancient Irish dellicasy, the bearded clam and the favourite among college students, the North American beaver.

While we are on the subject of confidentiality I must ask you that our business be transacted over e-mail only for the time being. My wife has been snooping all over the office for any evidence of wrongdoing on my part.Ever since she found out that I was having a love affair with my secretary she has been skulking about the office intercepting my phone calls and faxes looking for any evidence of impropriety on my part. She theatens me with divorce if she believes I am cheating again and I would lose all I own so I do not want our project to be noticed by her.I hope you do not think of me as a bad person after reading this. You would be justified if you wanted to quit our little project. You may wonder why I would ever take a mistress when I have such a beautiful Irish lass at home but we have not been intimate for seven years since she lost her leg in the Longford-Downslag heap disaster.A man has appetites that are hard to suppress, you know?

I tried to reach you at the phone number you gave me but the line was engaged.I shall try again when my wife is sleeping. At least the sound of her wooden leg thumping on the floor boards will give me some warning that it is not safe to call. What is a good time to reach you?

Your friend,

Seamus

P.S.You still have not told me where you found my e-mail address. It is not the one I usually use for business and Bridget does not know about it.Perhaps we have a common friend in Africa?

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I just returned from ahunting trip that should have been a refreshing respite from the hustle and bustle of daily business but it was not without its harrowing moments. My friend Mr. McCreevy and I went hunting in the Wexford Forest for the elusive celtic tiger.Well this animal is so rare that it was once thought by the ancient Irish of the last millenium to be immortal but further study has proven that its true lifespan is only ten years at most.

In any case, Mr. McCreevy managed to spot one of the beasts in a meadow whenceforth he proceeded to lock and aim his rifle.Unfortunately he is a poor shot and the rifle's loud report startled the tiger and caused it to charge my poor friend whom I thought surely must die from the encounter. To our surprise the large cat bounded out of the meadow and onto the N81 motorway whereupon it was swiftly run down by a speeding motorbus.

I cannot overstate the trouble that this has caused me as the National Ministry of Wildlife has demanded we pay a fine (actually a bribe) of 15 thousand Euros. The fine is no problem as I have many reserves of money, gold and diamonds for use as bribes in my business dealings but the paperwork the Ministry of Wildlife has required of me is most vexing indeed!I was, however allowed to keep the animal's hide.Shall I have it made into something for your children?Perhaps some willy warmers for your son?

I hope I have not troubled you with my tale of woe nor given you cause to doubt my honesty and trustworthiness by relating to you my acts of bribery. Rather let me assure you that this just how business is done in this Emerald Isle.We Irish have a saying that 'one hand washes the other and both hands wash the face.'Palms must be greased and there is often no way around that.

Your phone numbers still do not work.I get disconnected most of the time and other times the line is engaged.I think I have found a trustworthy banker who can handle this and won't feck off with the money.

your Seamus

[The 'Celtic Tiger' was the term used to describe the roaring Irish economy of the 1990's.Mr. McCreevy is Ireland's Minister of Finance and he is still looking for any sign that his Tiger might return.]

Dear SEAMUS,
I well received your message and the content was well understood. I will be sending you the Cetificate of Deposit which the security company issued to my late husband on the very day he deposited this box very shortly.

Please you have to bear in mind that is after the release of the box that I will have access to this very money, then I will lodge it in an international Bank here for onward transfer in your nominated account in future.

I want you to contact the security company directly as my late husbands foreign partner and also as the co-beneficiary of this consignment under thier custody in order to know their release procedures.

I only want to take the advantage of you, [Freudian slip perhaps] as a foreigner to use your influence to effect the release of this box simply because my late husband deposited the consignment as a belonging to his foreign partner and delared the content as family valuables. So I want you to maintain this secret, secret! while comunicating with the security company bacause it is only YOU and I knows the real content as money.

Note, do not disclose this secret only let them know that the consignment contains Family Valuables as my husbands delared and as they believed.

Dear Mrs. Butuma,
I'm sorry to have confused you with my last e-mail. Actually I included your address by accident. It was just some economic statistics from the Irish government I was sharing with some of my business contacts. Just delete it. I'll bet there aren't too many people in Abidjan who can speak Irish.

I have found a banker that I believe we can trust for the transaction. He is going to set up an account for us at the "First Bank of Eire An Gaeilge." I have told him of the need for secrecy but I have not revealed any of your particular information because of your need for confidentiality. We will meet again on Monday and I will get the specific bank account number. He never mentioned a need for a Certificate of Deposit for the transaction. Are you sure we will need it?
I would have had this deal with the bank completed but we had to evacuate due to a large fire nearby Howth.

I tried to call Dr. Koffi Duke at the number you gave me but nobody answered. Is Dr. Duke the banker or some kind of barrister? It would be good if you had someone learned in the law to facillitate legal matters in Afrika and to look after your interests.
Well it looks like we are coming along quite nicely with this project and I'm looking forward to its successful conclusion. I'm glad that you happened to send your mail to me as there are many unscrupulous people out there who would think nothing of robbing a widow out of all her family treasures.
I will be away for the weekend roiding with my female 'friend' while Bridget is at her sister's house in Cork but I will check the mail from time to time.

Sln go fill,
your Seamus

23 Aug 2003

Dear Seamus,

I thank you for your message and I am very happy that you realised the mistake. Dr. Koffi Duke is the Director of operations of the security company where this very consignment was deposited not a banker is after we effect the reelease of this box that we can now lodge the funds in an account here for onward transfer in your country.

We need a lawyer actually but don't need to consult one yet untill the security company gives you their instructions guiding the release of this box in their custody. So you have to insist and keep trying the line it will surely go through so that you can speak with koffi duke on our behalf concern the release procedures of this consignment.

Remember Dr. Koffi Dukes number is +22507 49 42 82. Contact him immediately and let me know.

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I would have gotten this information to you on Monday but we have had some of the worst weather pop up quite unexpectedly across Ireland. A nor'easter came roaring out of the North Sea and across England to hit Ireland. Floods and extreme wind prevented me from travelling to the bank until now. The storm is still not over as it is still blowing a Fine Gael.

I should have listened to my cousin ireann who is a meteorologist. He told me this storm was coming and if you've ever met ireann you would know he is a man of his word. Anyway the bank information is as follows:

First Bank of Eire An Gaeilge
CHIPS NO: 0007
ABA NO: 021000089
SWIFT CODE: EAGAEILGE IE27
A/C NO: 4559668A-22-48B

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I hope you are well today. It is good that you will soon be able to move your money and escape your terrible condition in Côte d'Ivoire.I still have not heard from the folks at your bank or security company but maybe next week?Have you given any thought to possibly investing in the Picadily Tart Company? As I said before, we are trying to expand to other markets and are looking for investors.I really think we are the best thing to come out of Dublin since U2.I am also considering increasing my shares in 'Sheepfanciers Monthly'.

Also, I wonder if you could tell me anything about that woman in Nigeria who was to be stoned under Sharia law.Amina Lawal was her name, I think. The local papers in Dublin were very keen on the story a few months ago but have not reported on her ultimate fate.It seems to be a very strange custom to stone a woman for the crime of using luggage with wheels.

Sln leat,

Dear Mr. Casmir,

Thank you for your quick reply.I don't know how much Mrs Butuma has told you about me but there are some security concerns that I have that prevent me from telephoning you.I would like this transaction to be done as much as possible through email and wire transfers because there are people in my office who may be intercepting my phone calls and faxes. Also we are still suffering the effects of a bad storm several days ago and phone service is still unreliable here.If it is absolutely necessary for you to give me oral instructions you may ring my answering service that I have set up in Seattle, USA in the wake of the storm's damage.

The number is xxxxxxxxxx

It may be necessary to dial a country and region code as well.I don't know what your phone company's requirements are.

Mrs. Butuma said that this was an urgent matter so I hope that this can be concluded in less than the 4 days you mentioned in your previous mail.

Finally I would like to know if you represent the bank's interests in this deal or Mrs. Butuma?I would hate to think that she has no advocate in this complex legal matter. She has suffered so much in life and this money is all she has left.

Sincerely,

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I hope all is well with you. The bank's lawyer said he was filing some legal paper work but I still have not heard from him. I hope he is not dragging his feet. I told him of your need for urgency. Perhaps if you had a lawyer of your own he would work harder for you. Everything is ready with my bank.

How is the weather over there? It's raining out all the heavens here and I've had to keep another set of wellies at the office.

I received an email from a Mrs. Mariam Abacha yesterday. It seems that she is in a similar situation to yours and living in Nigeria. Did you ever know her? Did you give my mail address to her? Any way I was thinking that since we already have this account in Ireland set up we could let her use it for the same purpose. It would be nice to help somebody else too. What do you think?

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I was talking to my lawyer several days ago about my annual tax liability and I must tell you that I inadvertantly let out the secret of our business arangement.I know that you wanted it to remain a secret and I had every intention to but Mr. Ripemov was able to guess the true nature of the questions I was asking and upon further questioning he was able to prise from me that I was involved in a transfer of foreign monies. On retrospect I think that we should be glad that I let our secret slip.He expressed some doubts about the legitmacy of this whole affair but I assured him that I have been in contact with you for a month now and I am a pretty good judge of character so he agreed to take the case.

He explained to me that foreign transfers are far more complex than my banker has led me to believe. If anyone can bring this transaction to completion, it is Mr. Dewey Ripemov.Mr. Ripemov is a master of legal manoeuvre and I think we will need his expertise.

He is a tenacious ould Kazakh sod who came to Ireland with nothing but the clothes on his back and a fierce will to succeed.Don't ever tell him that I told you this but he learned the "art of deal" by running contraband on the blackmarket in the USSR while keeping one step ahead of the KGB.He escaped to the west by walking more than 200 kilometres barefoot through the snows of Uzbekistan to reach freedom in Afghanistan.I'm telling you this so that you will know that he is a tough man who knows how to see things through to the end and most importantly he knows how to keep his mouth shut.We are lucky to have him working for us.

Mr. Ripemov has agreed to look over our case and contact us with his assesment of what needs to be done here in Ireland.I will rely on Mr. Casmir to handle things in Africa.

Keep well,

your Seamus

Amadan [the first password is the Irish word for 'fool']

Dear Lady and Gentlemen,

Per Mr. O'Paddy's previous letter to you, I will be representing Mr. O'Paddy in legal matters pertaining to the transfer of funds to his bank in Ireland.

After interviewing Mr. O'Paddy and and a thorough examination of his correspondance and documents pertaining to this transaction, I must say that I have serious reservations about pursuing this deal.Much of the documentation that Mr. O'Paddy has provided to me looks suspicious and highly irregular. However my client has insisted that he wishes to go through with the transaction if only to help Mrs. Butuma so I am reluctantly agreeing to assist him in this matter.

FIRST and most importantly before we proceed any further we must address the issue of security or rather the lack of security precautions which has permeated this entire deal since Mrs. Butuma first contacted Mr. O'Paddy. In light of the two attempts that have been made on Mr. O'Paddy's life since15 August 1998 and our lack of 256 bit e-mail encryption, I am immediately imposing the use of secret passwords in all correspondance. All correspondance MUST begin with the pre-assigned password or phrase which can be found at the URL found below:

http://forums.bicycling.com/bic/profile.jsp?user=17335

You will notice that I set up this personal profile for g.butuma when Mr. O'Paddy first contacted me and made me aware of what he had been doing.Look at the word or words listed as 'homepage'.The current password will be underlined.I will change the password at random intervals so go to the URL often to ensure that you have the latest password as all e-mails received by either Mr. O'Paddy or myself will go UNANSWERED if they do not begin with a valid password.I know that this may be an inconvenience but it is absolutely necessary if we are to be sure that we know who we are talking to is genuine and that e-mail accounts have not been compromised.I will not allow Mr. O'Paddy to suffer another assassination attempt as the Paisley Shirt Brigade has promised to kill him!

Memorise the security URL and DESTROY ALL HARD AND SOFT COPIES OF THIS E-MAIL.

SECOND, I have advised Mr. O'Paddy not to have further contact with Mrs. Abacha. We have no idea who this person is.They could be from a terrorist organisation or possibly someone who wants to steal Mrs. Butuma's fortune.

THIRD, I have instructed Mr. O'Paddy not to call any phone number given to him over the e-mail.If it becomes absolutely essential to give verbal instructions to either Mr. O'Paddy or me, then you must call Mr. O'Paddy's voice mail service at xxxxxxxxxx in the U.S.. Preface all messages with the same password used to authenticate e-mails or they will be considered to be those of an imposter!

Let us pray that it is not already too late to ensure Mr. O'Paddy's security in this matter.

I will write to you all again soon regarding my findings of the irregularities of this transaction which must be remedied before it can be completed.

Dewey Ripemov, Esq.

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I hope you were not too put off by Mr. Ripemov's letter. He can be quite brusque at times and even seems quite rude but that is just the way of the Kazakh people and he is just concerned for my safety and the actualisation of the transfer of funds. He really has some balls so it is appropriate that he settled in Dalkey.I will let him handle the legal business in this transfer of funds but I would like to keep in touch with you as I have become quite fond of you and enjoy our conversations.

We have finally entered the information age at the Picadily Tart Company and have our website up in its intial phase. My American website developer says that it is still under construction but it can be viewed in its current state at :

http://www.XXX.com

When we have our own servers up and running it should be picadilytarts.ie but for now the above address should work. Please take a look and let me know what you think.

Barrister Casmir's last letter mentioned that he needed money by Western Union but I have never done a transfer of money by wire so I don't know what really needs to be done and he does not answer his telephone.Do you know how this works?I would like to make sure he gets paid so that the transfer of funds is not jeopardised.Keep well and give my regards to your children.

Dear Mr. Casmir,

I well received your letter regarding your fees but I require some assistance in dealing with Western Union.I have never done a wire transfer of funds by Western Union or any other company for that matter.I don't know the process and even if there is a WU outlet anywhere in Dublin. No one I have talked to has heard of such a thing.Perhaps there is one down in County Kerry.I will try to find out.Anything you can tell me about this process would be most helpful in getting your fee to you.

In the meantime I would like you to continue working on the transfer and please forward any legal documents that you have filed in High Court to me and Mr. Ripemov.

Cad is ainm duit?

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

Just a quick note to let you know that I contacted Barrister Casmir for better instructions on how to effect a Western Union transfer. I have never had to send money this way so I really don't know what is required. I couldn't even find anyone who knows of a Western Union outlet in Dublin so I may have to travel to some boghole in County Kerry in order to accomplish this. There is no sense in asking Mr. Ripemov for money as he is quite a scabby individual and won't give you the steam off his piss. If he were in charge of the stable atBethlehem the Holy Family would be wandering the world still, bereft of food or shelter.

Bridget and I just returned from Dublin's premier social event, the Angeline Ball, where I spoke with General Martin Cahill, commander of the Crumlin Fusiliers, Ireland Defense Forces. He warned me that we are on Terrorist Alert level "Orange" for at least a fortnight after the 11 September anniversary so I would appreciate it if you used the password system that Mr. Ripemov imposed. It is a small thing but it will add to my security. Here is the link to get the password again:

http://forums.bicycling.com/bic/profile.jsp?user=17335

Perhaps you can accompany me to the Angeline Ball next year when you are in Dublin. We hope that Mrs. Maria Doyle Kennedy will perform then if she has no prior Commitments.

I was also wondering if you could do me a personal favour. Our production line is idle at the moment because of some broken parts that we cannot find replacements for. Our equipment is very old and badly in need of upgrading but we cannot pay for all new equipment right now. Our repairmen say that the only parts in existense for this old equipment might be found in Africa or South America but my web searching has turned up nothing. If you have some spare time could you please inquire locally if anyone has three co-houter valves for a model 8AX77 straight line conveyer? We need the blue ones with the red flanges and not the black ones with the blue intake ports. Also I need to locate a sphincter cage for the exhaust scrubber (also for the 8AX77 unit). Either a series 2 or series 3a will work.

Thanks so much,
Your Seamus

P.S. Did you see our new website yet? What do you think? As a customer do you find the homepage pleasing to the eye or does it need improvement? I am eager for your opinion.

[Angeline Ball and Maria Doyle Kennedy are Irish actresses who starred in the best Irish movie of all time, 'The Commitments.'Martin Cahill aka 'The General'was one of modern-day Dublin's most infamous gangsters.]

I have made several contacts regarding my search for a Western Union vendor that I will follow up on tomorrow.I will have to travel by car to Galway so I may not return your mail for a couple days.Who would have guessed that the search for something as simple as this would be so difficult but in a lot of ways we are still very much a third world country.

Please try to use the password like you see at the top of this letter. It is the only way that we will know that the mail is genuine and not intercepted by some grimy scammer, according to Mr. Ripemov.

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I have had quite a difficult time trying to find a Western Union location to send Barrister Casmir his fee. After receiving a tip that I might find one in Galway I drove to that city to inquire at one of the local pubs if anyone might help direct me to it.Well I made it as far as Gortnahoe when my car ran out of petrol necessitating a walk to the nearest pump.I didn't even get 100 metres when two gurriers set about stealing the tyres off my car.I tried to stop them but the larger of the two gave me a dig in the gob that sent me to the ground and they finished their business.Dazed I had to walk to Tipperary and it's a long way to Tipperary.I was able to hire a car to complete my journey but when I got there, I was dismayed to find that instead of a Western Union there was a place called Weston Urinal Supply at the address supplied to me.

The garda to whom I reported my assault directed me to the only Western Union that he knew which was - you guessed it - nearly where I started from, in lovely Blanchardstown.I hope that Barrister Casmir appreciates all the trouble I have gone through to get him his money. My car is complete insurance write-off.

Unfortunately, they shut the doors of the place just as I arrived and told me that I should come back on Tuesday as they would be closing Monday for the Feast of St. Robert Bellarmine. The clerk was most helpful.

I shall report the news to Mr. Casmir and I hope that he will now be able to work unfettered by worries of getting paid.

yours faithfully,

Seamus

Dear Barrister Casmir,

I have found a location that can handle a Western Union money transfer but they sent me away until I can comply with a few security requirements that they have recently adopted.Since many of their recent customers have had their funds intercepted at the receiving end by imposters, they now require a photo of the person who will be picking up the funds, in this case, that would be your secretary, Mr.Ntomchukwu Okafor. They will fax a copy of the photo to your Western Union office so they can verify his identity.Since I have no idea who this Mr. Ntomchukwu Okafor really is, I must request that you photograph him. Please have him hold a sign with our first password written on it, which you may remember is 'AMADAN' so that I may know that I am dealing with the right person before I give your fee to the Western Union agent.

I hope this requirement does not embarrass you or Mr. Ntomchukwu Okafor in any way but the photo is absolutely essential for the Western Union agent and the sign with the word AMADAN will let me know that I am dealing with the genuine Mr. Ntomchukwu Okafor and not a scam artist attempting to steal Mrs. Butuma's funds.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter. Please keep me and Mr. Ripemov informed as to your progress at High Court and contact Mrs. Butuma from time to time so that she may have the peace of mind of knowing that you are taking care of her business.

[And if you send a scammer a WU money order you will not get it back. But you knew that.]

And also attached as message to them over there to pay the money to the beneficiaryONLY with valid identity card or passport so my secretary need to present his identity for the cashing of the funds here and mean while them have to give you the transfer mtcn numbers and also the question test and the answer test for more easier and safest way of collecting the money here.

Dear Sir,

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Penny Mahoney.I am Seamus O'Paddy's secretary and for the past 5 years I have been his lover.I know that he has been dealing with you in an attempt to transfer money from Africa to Europe because I have read his emails. He is careless and uses the same password for everything.I do not believe he has any intention of following through because I overheard him and his partner talking last night about plans to get hold of Mrs. Butuma's fund.I know he has told Mrs. Butuma that he has over $50 thousand on hand for business but I can tell you that it is closer to $500 thousand and I make you this offer.

If you will work with me and give me 10 percent of Mrs. Butuma's fund I will give you all of Seamus' cash that he keeps in a safe at his office. We can meet in Dublin or London and I will pay you in cash or you can send your secretary.Do not let Mrs. Butuma or Seamus know that anything is different. You must let me know soon if you wish to do this because I will have to get the money and get away from Seamus before he knows what has happened.

If you do this for me, I may also do another favour for you.I have sent my picture.Do you want to meet me?Please let me know soon.

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

It has come to my attention that Barrister Casmir's secretary is using what looks like a falsified passport. He could be trying to steal your fund or possibly just trying to rob Mr. Casmir. In the worst of all scenarios he could even have something to do with the men who killed your husband. In any case please be careful and do not let this person know where you are living.Security must be our watchword.

On another note.I have a friend in New York who is upgrading his business and has a quantity of laptop computers that he no longer needs. Are your children in University?Perhaps they could make use of them. They are not top of the line models to be sure but they would be quite useful to a student.Let me know if you are interested and I will try to acquire some of them for you and your family.

Take care,

your Seamus

Dear Barrister Casmir,

I was about to send your money through Western Union today when the clerk at their office noticed something peculiar about the passport for Mr. Ntomchukwu Okafor and refused to send the money to you and, in fact they impounded my money and would not return it to me!It seems that the passport number that is handwritten does not match the number that is pre-printed and the one that is punched out along the edge.Furthermore, the mismatched number and Mr. Ntomchukwu Okafor's name look like they have been altered in a computer imaging program. The name is in a different font from the rest of the document and it is sharper and darker too, as if it were added later using a Photoshop program.Near the name you can see where the watermark has been blurred as a result of this manipulation.I believe you should be very careful about this individual because I do not think he is who he says he is.He could be an imposter trying to steal Mrs. Butuma's fund. Please do some checking into this person's criminal history because he may even try to steal from you.I have had tosack peoplein my company for theft and embezzlement and it is never enjoyable but sometimes necessary. For your sake be careful.Do not let this man have contact with Mrs. Butuma. She or her children could be in danger.

I have a friend at the Tir na ng garda station, that is to sa, police station, who might be able to get the money. He is running for a seat in the Dil, that is to say Parliament, and I have some personal information about him that would ruin his political future if it were revealed so I believe I can make him "persuade" the people at Western Union to release the money.I hope he won't have to kneecap the bastards but he will do whatever it takes.

Be Carefull. im not interested!!!

Penny Mahoney [71]

26 Sep 2003

Sir,

Don't tell me you are not interested.Everybody is interested in money.I plan on taking Seamus' money with you or without you.If we work together we can have Mrs. Butman's money too.If you don't think you can handle this then maybe you are a small man who is not up to the task.Do not take too long to decide because once I have the money, I am going to have to leave the country and it will be too late for you.

Did you like my picture or would you prefer a boy?

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

It has been several days since I have heard from either you or Barrister Casmir. I really think you ought to find another barrister. I don't trust the people he has working for him.

30 Sep 2003

Dear seamus,

Thanks for your efforts so far,but....

I am thanking you for your co-operation and your kindness so far.

It was very painfull to me yesterday,I decided to go the Bank to know what was happening,I counld not meet the manager, luckily to me I saw the attorney himself,I called him to asked him what was all the problem about?he was telling me that you don't trust him, that you are thinking he is demanding money from you to eat or something of that nature.

He further subjest that you should send the money through me,so that I will bring it to his office for the paper works.

I believe such subjestion is as well fine too, many a time you do say you don't trust him,so that is the development now.

You can go ahead and make the payment with my name forwards the information to me I will go and collect and also forwards to him and remain there untill he provides all the documents required by the BANK,so that the fund will transfered into your accounts immediately.

There are rumours of imminent attack going around here in the city,I don't know when these will take place.

Finally,I want to use this oppotunity to let you know that I am no more using the old box,my accounts has expired you can get to me now through this new (ID) ok.

Best regards.
Mrs Grace Butuma

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

It did my heart good to get you message and know that you are well. I thought that maybe you had fallen victim to a crime since I have come to suspect that Mr. Casmir's secretary is using phony documents. I had feared that he might try to do you in to get hold of your fund. People have been murdered for far less. Please tell me you are taking steps to protect yourself and your children. Things are not going well for me here either. Bridget is in hospital due to complications of diabetes and overexertion from our night at the Angeline Ball. The doctors are considering taking off a few more centimetres of her leg and to make matters worse, last night some rats got under her bedsheets and chewed on her good leg causing a bad infection. I have to get her out of that stinking National Health Services hole and into a decent private hospital. I have had to spend more time attending to Bridget so now my lover is angry and will not speak with me but what can I do? She is still my wife after all.

I still want to help you so tell me exactly what you want to do but you must promise me that you will find legal representation other than Barrister Casmir. He may be legitimate but something seems dodgy to me. I will not work with him.

Did you get my message about the laptop computers for your children? Do you think they could use them? Talk to Victor and Joy and see if they want them. Waiting to hear from you, my Lady.

your Seamus

Mrs. Grace Butuma [75]

Dear seamus,

Thank so much and how are you today?I hope you are alright,I am very sorry to hear of your wife illness.

I pray God will see her through and she will speedily recover very soon.

Regards to your advices we are fine as well,my only worried now,is my hotel bill that is expiring on friday, please could you help us on that so that I will make ways to look for another attorney to replace mr casir.

I asked my children, they love it but they only want to be there not matter of laptop, meanwhile I will like you send it to us if possible.

So greet your wife for me I say hello to her, how your friend, you were telling me about his problem concerning hunting, has him okay now please I want to know from you cause we are very prayerful for you and your associates there, untill we meet you in person.

Thanks and God bless you.
Best regards.
Mrs Grace Butuma

Seamus O'Paddy [76]

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I'm glad to hear that your children can make use of the laptop computers.I will have my secretary, Penny send themby way of FedEx.It's funny that you should mention my troubles with the Ministry of Wildlife after this summer's incident during the Celtic Tiger hunt because yesterday they paid me a visit.I guess one of the big bosses in the Ministry is unhappy with the bribe that I paid in order to stay out of trouble for hunting out of season so he sent some of his goons to my office to try to shake some more money out of me.Well I don't mind paying a bribe or two but I had thought that the matter was settled already so I refused to pay another brass farthing. They said that if I didn't pay that I would have to go to court and face legal action.Well I don't need any more trouble with all that is going on around here so I finally had to agree to give them the Celtic Tiger hide so I'm afraid I'm going to have to rescind the offer of the willey warmers for your son.

As to the matter of your hotel bill I would like to send you a cheque to cover expenses.I know this will be slower than Western Union but those folks at the Blanchardstown Western Union held Mr. Casmir's fee from me for nearly a week and I was only able to recover my money after my friend from the garda went down there and prevailed upon them to give me my money back.Well it turns out that the entire network of Western Unions around here is under investigation for running money to drugs and terror networks so I don't think I will be utilising their services in the future lest we all get caught in some legal dragnet.

your Seamus

Dear Seamus,
Many thanks to your mail, may this email find you health?I am very happy to hear that you are going to send the laptop, through (FedEX).

Even this morning they camez to my guest house to informs me that they will come tomorrow, presently I have no money at hand, please can I find favour from you before the end of tomorrow, help me I don't want to fall in victim of house problem.

So,I believe the check can be enough to cover such shamefull manner that is trying to come on my way.

Concerning your situation with the ministry,I hope all is settled, and your wife too is getting better, that is what I want to hear from you, meanwhile,I called the attorney's chamber this morning but I could not meet mr kenneth casmirs. Please Seamus,I am desperately in time of need now concerning the hotel bill,I want your help please.

I gusee by now we would have come over there but I was very surprised till today why the fund is still been delayed,I could not save money for the month.

Or if you feels to send me something like money of the hotel bill, you can try moneygram,so that I can recieved it before their coming tomorrow ok.

Finally,I want to let you know that by monday next week I will be looking for another attorney to effect the paper work the bank are demanding.

Best Regards.

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I should clarify what I wrote earlier. The bank cheque I have sent to you by Fedex. I was in a hurry to send it off knowing that you are about to be evicted from your lodgings by those filthy innkeepers so I just sent it as "general delivery" to the main Fedex Office in Abidjan and should arrive in 3 days. They said that you just need to present your photo identification to them and they will release the envelope to you. Do not allow them to try to prise more money from you because I have paid all the fees and it should cost you nothing.

The laptop computers will arrive by APX International which, I believe contracts with Fedex also. When my friend sends me the receipt for this, I will forward the information to you. APX sends things by container ship so I expect they will arrive 10-14 days after leaving New York

In your last letter you wrote "(I DO NOT KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE WRITING TO ME FROM THIS YOUR BOX.)." I do not understand. I have sole control over this email account if that is what you are asking.

until later,

your Seamus

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

Sorry for the delay in writing to you but I had to move Bridget to another hospital. She is not getting any better and I needed to find an expert in infections of the blood.Hopefully now that she is under the expert care of Dr. Myra Hindley she will recover to her full health.

As to your problems with your innkeeper, you should remind them that God hates those who oppress the widow and the orphan and that they will receive their just recompense in the pit of Hell.On monday you should go to the main Fedex office in Abidjan and ask for and envelope addressed to "Grace Butuma (care of general delivery) just show them your photo identification and they will give it to you without charge.I do not know the address of the Fedex office in case there is more than one but their computer system should track the envelope. The checque is for 4000 United States Dollars.I hope that this helps you.

May I ask how much your innkeeper charges for an apartment in Abidjan.Take care and say Hello to your children for me.

your Seamus

[Myra Hindley was a mass murderer in the UK in the early 1960s and not the kind of person you would want for a doctor.]

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

I did not understand your message.Did you get your bank cheque from the Fedex office? There should be no secret code to give them.It is possible that they may have lost it or that it has not arrived for some reason. Please have them look for it again and if you think that they might have stolen it, please go to the police.I do not have any spare money this week to do a transfer so please persist with the Fedex people and explain to them how you might get evicted from your hotel.I am sure that they will take pity and help you as I have.

your Seamus

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

How are you today? I will have to look for the receipt that the FEDeX people gave to me. The office is a big mess since Penny has not been in for several days to organise things.

Attached is the shipping receipt for the laptop computers. They are being shipped by APX on a container ship and should arrive at the Fedex office who they have a contract with in about a fortnight. I just listed the contents as Family Valuables as your husband did at the Security Company.

Keep well,

your Seamus

Subject:PLEASE,PLEASE AND PLEASES SEARCH VERY FINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dear seamus,
Thanks for your mail and how is the day ?I recieved your message and I went again to the FEDEX this morning with my pastor, they repeated the same thing that I must provide the track number.

I saw the way bill of the laptop you sent to me and I have printed out the way bill and I am with it as I am writting to you no,and IO believe they will need the track numbers as well.

My pleading now to you is to kindly,as you promised, to search very fine in your room or office about the recipt and send it through attached so that I will print it and go with it to the office again.

Regards to my guest house problem I explained to my pastor and he went with me to the hoteliers as a man of God,they aspected to exercise patience till friday.

So, all what we have to do now is to be sincere with the pastor as he has committed his vow to them and further warns me to never let him down because of the manner they respected him that he don't want to be involved in lying before God and man.

Besides, let us not humiliates this man of God before this people.

However,I will like you to send the track numbers of the waybills and the cheque bills as well thank and God bless you.

Best Regards.

Dear Mrs. Butuma,

Bridget is still in hospital and is doing quite poorly. Dr. Myra Hindley had to amputate her other leg and her infection is very bad. She is taking intravenous anti-biotics in an attempt to save her life but the doctor gives her less than 50% chance to live. I am in a desperate state. Penny has stopped talking to me and does not even do her work when she is in the office. I fear she may leave me and quit her job. I will call your pastor because I think that this is a time for prayer. I have not talked to God in years and I think I am being punished for it now.

The tracking number is for the Fedex envelope. I still have not been able to talk to my American friend about the laptop waybill. The waybill that I sent you is from an attachment that he sent me but I think it looks like the original price quote for the consignment and not the actual waybill. Anyway, it is on a slow boat and should not arrive for a few days especially if the ship makes other ports of call. The Fedex envelope with the money is the most important thing right now.

Please pray for me and Bridget
your Seamus

Subject: Seamus O'Paddy and Grace Butuma

Dear Sir,
I know that you have been chosen by a Mrs. Grace Butuma to work with Seamus O'Paddy of Dublin, Ireland to transfer some money because I have his mail password.Seamus and I have been lovers for the last few years but have recently fallen out.I want you to know that something is going to happen to Seamus very soon which will make it impossible to pay your fee. In fact I doubt that he will even be able to get his daily bread when I am done.I will have all Seamus' cash and I want to help you do the deal with Mrs. Butuma only I want you to keep this confidential. Seamus is trying to find a way to grab Mrs. Butuma's fund and not pay any lawyer's fees.Even now he is stalling payment to Mrs. Butum to pay her rents. He has cheated me also for the last time and I want this deal.He is a selfish man and will never pay.Do you think that you can trust a man who cheats on his wife.

Do not let either Seamus or Mrs. Butuma know that I have contacted you.Proceed as if nothing is wrong but write back to me and let me know what your fees are.The other lawyer wanted 48 thousand US dollars which seems fair.

Please reply with urgency and do not let anyone know of this.
