INTRODUCTION OF MY SELF: I am Mrs. Danijela Djuric a Yugoslavian and personal secretary to Mikhail Khodorkovsky (M.K) the richest man in Russia and owner of the following companies: Chairman CEO: YUKOS OIL (Russian Most Largest OilCompany) Chairman CEO: Menatep SBP Bank (A well reputable financial institution with its branches all over the world) SOURCE OF FUNDS: The above funds in question was realized after the Documents of payment of US$423Million was handed over to me to be used in payment of an American oil merchant for his last oil deal with my boss Mikhail Khodorkovsky, but I discovered that there was an excess of US$50Million which I seek your assistance to invest in your country. Already the US$423Million have been deposited with Bank Menatep Russia, but the exces I deposited with security company. While I was on the process of transfer of the US$423Million, My Boss got arrested for his involvement on politics in financing the leading and opposing political parties (the Union of Right Forces, led by Boris Nemtsov, and Yabloko, a liberal/social democratic party led by Gregor Yavlinsky) which poses treat to President Vladimir Putin second tenure as Russian president. [Scam-o-note: see more like this on the Slavorama page.] Lewd Noogie Mrs. Djuric, This sounds intriguing but I think it must have been sent to me by mistake. Lewis D. Noogie Danijela Djuric Sent : Monday, August 16, 2004 9:40 AM Subject : Is Meant For You Dear Lewis D. Noogie, Thanks for your mail. I am happy to read from you. I didn't make any mistake in sending the mail to you. The mail was meant fro you. I just want to know if you are willing to help me or not. I hope to read from you. Best reagrds, Danijela. Lewd Noogie Ms. Djuric, If you are absolutely sure that your email was intended for me then I would be glad to try to help you. What is it you would like me to do? Lewis D. Noogie Danijela Djuric Sent : Monday, August 16, 2004 9:10 PM Subject : My Response Dear Mr. Lewis D. Noogie, Thank you for your prompt response to my mail. I am happy to hear from you. I believe in your credibility and honesty towards this transaction, as I beleive so much in most of the business directory sent to my boss from various chambers of commerce across the world, which is where I got your contact with the hope that he might have some confidence in doing business with you or any of the long list of business links. The directory is still in his office and only security operatives are allowed to enter his office since the arrest. We lost the first payment transfered as the recipient of the account fleed after redirecting the funds and closing the account. I need to clarify you the step that we are going to take in carrying out this transaction successful without breaking any international law. Before I am able to give out the information that will enable you access confidential datapages of mikhail, I would need some information as follows: (1) What is your net worth? (2) Do you have any legal and/or financial problems? (3) If you have problems, do they affect your activites you undertake with us as an individual rather than a corporate entity? (4) Have you handled large funds, and successfully? (5) Can you travel to Europe within short notice of say three days? All the answers will be kept very confidential. I must explain why we are asking these questions: If you do have existing profile problems, we may end up inheriting your backlog thus creating a problem where none exist. We intend to liquidate a large investment, and take the capital appr. derivative to provide a new investment fund, under your management, for future investments, thus negating any requirements for taxation or declaration of process for income generation. However, if you do have issues prior to this, it puts anything you do in the light, and thus puts us in uncomfortable situation. As you see, our assets are frozen in switzerland, and while we have excess of USD5b lying there, we are unable to liquidate them, ot usethem as guarantee for payment of the USD3.5b backtaxes inflicted on us by the government. If the situation does not improve, we shall be bankrupt before the end of forth quarter this year. The funds being liquidated arise from independent investments of the group, outside the russian soil, so we can legitimately do so, only if this is done quietly. If the authorites hear about this, we shall have to tender it for hearing in international judicial systems, and tht will kill us. Hence answer the questions in honesty, and let us know we are confortable with you. We are trying to ensure that you do not put us in any trouble, and likewise, we shall provide you with an input as an entity with no history to the investment, only as a consultant. Everybody must be safe now and in the future, hence the questions. I shall be waiting for the answers. Best regards, Danijela. Lewd Noogie Danijela, I was very pleased to hear from you. Your questions all seem reasonable and I will attempt to answer them to the best of my ability. 1. Net worth - I suppose considering personal accounts, property, and my stake in my partnership, I am probably worth close to US$ 17 million. 2. Legal/Financial problems - None 3. There is no problem with me doing this as an individual, other than I have a signed agreement with my partners that I will not undertake any kind of financial transactions outside of the partnership. As long as we impose reasonable security and confidentiality, I don't see a problem. 4. I frequently handle large funds for my partnership. I consider myself reasonably astute regarding financial matters. 5. Travel to Europe - I am a hotel consultant and most of my work is in Eastern Europe and the C.I.S.Ę I am currently in Novosibirsk, Latvia, consulting to a small resort hotel here. I can travel with relative freedom but I do have to be mindful of my work schedule. I will try to maintain as much flexibility as possible. I hope these answers are sufficient. I also have a few questions regarding yourself. I like to have at least a basic knowledge of the persons I work with: 1. What location do you work from, i.e., where are you? I presume you are in Moscow? 2. Please tell me a bit about yourself - your age, marital status, have you travelled much? 3. Are you in frequent contact with Mr. Khodorkovsky? I also have one condition of my own - I must insist on complete transparency from both sides. I may from time to time have questions as we proceed and if at any time I feel my questions are being ignored or I receive vague answers, I will have to excuse myself from the transaction. The amount of money we are dealing with here is substantial and I see no place for generalities or inexactness. If this is satisfactory to you then I suggest we proceed. By the way, my friends call me Lewd (short for Lewis D.) Sincerely, Lewd Danijela Djuric Sent : Tuesday, August 17, 2004 8:37 PM Subject : Thank you Dear Lewd, Thank you very much for the mail. I really appreciate you time in ressponding to my last message. I am impressed with the way you answered my question, and I am ready as you have indicated, to answer yours when it finally comes, please I have to make something clear, before you take any decision of my answer in case you don't find it appealing or properly answered, just let me know before you decided to leave. Let me carefull respond to your question: 1. What location do you work from, i.e., where are you? I presume you are in Moscow? Ans: I am somewhere in St. Petersburg as a result of the problem on ground, I have to go hiding to avoid being called for question by the government. 2. Please tell me a bit about yourself - your age, marital status, have you travelled much? I have been leaving in Russia for the past 8 years, I am aged 34, as my birthday was only about 2 weeks ago, I am now divoiced as my husband could not ber with my frequent travel with MK due to the rumour that I was dating him, which wasn't true, just purely busines trips; I had only two sons from the marriage and they are with my mum. 3. Are you in frequent contact with Mr. Khodorkovsky? The only time I get to see him is when he is brought for hearing in court, as the government is making life unbearable for everyone. I hope I am able to answer your question too. I am making arrangement to get the photopage of my passport scanned so that I can send it to you to see. I am ready to deal with you very open as I do not wish that all involved should be locked out. I hope to read from you. Kind Regards, Danijela. Lewd Noogie Danijela, I was thinking this morning what a nice name you have; I can't wait to see what you look like. Is there a nickname for Danijela? Actually, we're not too far from each other with me being in Latvia and you being in St. Petersburg. That's a beautiful city as I'm sure you well know. If you ever get a chance, there's a place there on Gagarinsky street called the Huisos Bar that you should stop into. The owner, Andrei, is an old friend of mine and he's usually there every day. Tell him Lewd says hello and you won't have to pay for a drink any time you're there. Just a note Danijela - I would not recommend that you send me a scan of your passport. Identity theft is rampant in this part of the world and we are still relative strangers. If I were a thief I could do a lot of things with a scan of your passport; wait until we know each other a little better. I would like to see what you look like though; how about just scanning a recent snapshot and sending that. I would also like you to send me a timetable of what we have to do to make this transaction so I can start planning ahead a little bit. Thanks. Lewd [Danijela sends Lewd her picture. Not bad.] Danijela Djuric Sent : Wednesday, August 18, 2004 10:48 AM Subject : Thank you Dear Lewis Noogie, Thanks for your mail. For your information I canŐt leave my house for now because of the trial of my boss is still in court. I have some security around me and that have limited my movement. The only thing that I am waiting for now is to get this money out of Russia and start a new life. I would have loved to meet your friend, but I canŐt. I have attached one of my pictures for you to see if that will make you to believe me. I am really passing through hell down here and I would love you to keep this transaction to yourself, I donŐt want anything that will stop or jeopardize this transaction for us. Ę I have important information that I want to send you, but before I do that I need to have your assurance that you are really ready and willing to help us receive this money in your account. That the information that you are about to access will not get into the hand of any third party. If I have your word I will send the information to you and I will let you know what we are going to do next. I hope to read from you. Best regards, Danijela. Lewd Noogie Danijela, I think we have a misunderstanding here. I wasn't asking for a photograph as proof of anything, I only recommended against sending a scan of your passport to a relative stranger. I just wanted to see if you are as attractive as your name and I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised by your photograph. You are quite attractive, Danijela, and I don't think we'll be strangers for very long. And if you are still looking for reassurance from me about my participation, hey, I'm in! No one else will know about this, it will be kept between the two of us. Please send any additional information that I will require to move forward. Listen, from what I read in the papers, Mr. Kodorkovky's trial is going to go on for some time. Why don't you consider flying over here to Latvia for a week or two? I think I mentioned that I am consulting to a small resort hotel here in Novosibirsk, you would love it here. You sound like you have been under a lot of stress lately and you would find it very restful here (most of the time). Think about it and let me know. Sincerely, Lewd [She addresses me as 'Dennis'. Gotta be tough keeping all the names straight.] Danijela Djuric Sent : Wednesday, August 18, 2004 2:18 PM Subject : Keep very safe Dear Dennis, As you should know by now I cannot leave Russia without making sure this fund is out already because when I leave here I cannot get back. Please go through it, and get back to me for conclusion. Please this information secured and make sure you release anyone, I have to appeal as this is information is very vital. There you will see the stage with which this deal as reached. I hope to read from you. Danijela. [If it's Dennis she likes, then Dennis it is.] Lewd Noogie Danijela, I checked out Mr. Kodorkovsky's financial data on the website link you sent; very impressive, but it doesn't really allow us to do anything, does it? I don't understand why you could not return to Russia if you left and came here for awhile. You're not under any kind of indictment, are you? I'm sure your visa is good for multiple entries, right? C'mon, you'd enjoy it over here and like I said, you'd find it very relaxing here. I spent a lot of time looking at your picture last night. I have a confession to make - I have had a thing going with Olga, the East German massage therapist here at the hotel. She's a beautiful girl, an Anna Kornikova look-alike, only about 160 lbs heavier. Somehow, since I saw your picture, I just haven't felt the same way about her anymore. I would really like to meet you in person and spend some time with you. The more I look at your picture the more anxious I get. There has to be some way, somewhere we could meet. Let's think about it and maybe we'll come up with something. Potentially yours, Dennis Lewd Noogie Danijela, I was expecting to hear from you today. Is everything ok with you? Lewd [I get worried when I don't hear from her for a day or two. I may have blown it with the 'Dennis' thing.] Lewd Noogie Danijela, I hope you weren't upset about the 'Dennis' thing. After all, it was you who addressed your last email to me as 'Dennis'. C'mon, I still want to help you as much as I ever did. Or are you upset because you felt like I was hitting on you? Hey, it's only natural, you're a very attractive lady. I promise I'll tone it down and try to focus more on the business at hand. What do you say? Lewd Danijela Djuric Sent : Friday, August 20, 2004 6:59 PM Subject : Not Mad Dear Lewis, I am not much upset about the issue, I admit that I made the mistake as it must have been when I wrote Dennis who is also my partner in this deal in a note pad, which I highlighted mistakenly and never remember to change before I respond to your mail. At the moment this deal is much important, as it is widely said "business before plessure" We have to get this fund out of Menatep as soon as we can; You have gone through the website and you will discover that the account have been suspended because of the back taxes that has not been paid, unless this taxes is paid the money will not be release into your account. The question on your mind is what are we going do? In first letter to you, I told you that we deposited $50 million dollars with a security company in Valencia and it has become necessary for you to come to Spain where you are going to open a Non-residential account with one of the local bank and the money will be transfer into your new account for onward transfer to your account. The security company will help you to get all the necessary documents for you to receive this money in your account without been question by your home government. As you may know after September 11 terrorist attack in united state the system of banking has change in the world. That is why you need to open this account in Madrid. When you have opened the account Valencia, you will withdraw some money and pay for the back taxes. I need to read from you fast, to know your position. Regards, Danijela. Lewd Noogie Dear Danijela, I was so relieved to see your email in my inbox this morning, and I'm so glad you weren't upset with me. Ok, business before pleasure. I'll stay focused on the task at hand. A couple of questions: 1. When you say that banking has changed around the world after the September 11 terrorist attack, I'm not sure what you mean.. I have not noticed any changes affecting my banking practices. Could you give me some examples please? 2. You say Dennis is also your partner in this deal. Who exactly is he and what is the extent of his involvement? 3. You say I have to open account(s) in Valencia and/or Madrid. I don't understand why this is necessary. I suppose it's a moot point however, as I already have a bank account in Malaga that will serve the purpose. There are two Spanish hotels that I consult to and it is therefore necessary that I have an account there. 4. Do you intend to be in Spain while I am there? 5. What was the purpose of putting the $50 million with a security company instead of a bank? Why was Spain chosen? Just a note - I have no concerns about receiving this money and questions from my government. I am quite familiar with the banking regulations in Georgia and there is nothing to worry about in this regard. I think that's all I have for now. Are you still sure you don't want to come over to Latvia for a couple weeks? Sincerely, Lewd Danijela Djuric Sent : Saturday, August 21, 2004 9:22 PM Dear Lewis, Thank you for the mail. I have to take your question one at a time. 1. When you say that banking has changed around the world after the September 11 terrorist attack, I'm not sure what you mean.. I have not noticed any changes affecting my banking practices. Could you give me some examples please? Ans: In the past it use to be easy make large transfer, but after Sept 11, everything changed completely because every government became warry of terror attack and the transfer of large sum to aid such purpose. the Financial Action Task Force and every other monitoring financial institution became alert. 2. You say Dennis is also your partner in this deal. Who exactly is he and what is the extent of his involvement? Ans: Dennis is my partner, we have been together and have been doing things together, and I need him as much as I need you, he has his role to play, I have mine and you have yours. He provides me with information about what happens outside, since I am always inside. Ans: That is the arrangement we have made with the security company as they will have to make the choose on the bank to be use based on what is needed to be done for the safe delivery of the fund to its destination to avoid any government problem or interfarence, because if we don't follow the simple procedure, there is surely going to be problem and this I don't want. 4. Do you intend to be in Spain while I am there? Ans: I can only leave Russia, when I am sure that the fund has finally been transfered; I do not intend to return back to Russia after I must have left as I don't want any more questioning from the government, which is why I am making plans to leave through the border for good when it is all set. If I must leave Russia, then my destination would be the US, and you if care you can come and spend some time with me there in the US. 5. What was the purpose of putting the $50 million with a security company instead of a bank? Why was Spain chosen? We we had problem when the initial payment was sent and we became careful about the other part which is what we need you for, the security company was all we needed to assist us to get that part out as it was deposited to them like a consignment, so that opted for the Security company who will need to do the job for us, while you remain as the beneficiary of the entire sum at the end for our keep. Spain was choosen based on the choice of the security company as the meeting point. I cannot come to Latvia, as I planned to only leave Russia when and only when the fund has successfully been transfered as I don't want tany hitch in the course of transfer because they say out of sight is out of mind. I will hope for your reply. Danijela. Lewd Noogie Danijela, There are some things here I really don't understand, and your last email has raised some concerns. Like you, I don't want any hitch in this transfer either, and I want to do anything required to make sure this happens smoothly. But I do want to be fully aware as to why I'm doing something. The changes in banking procedures since the 9/11 attacks have had very little effect on transferring large sums of money. Of course there is a greater awareness by governments as to the source and destination of funds, but I see nothing here that would raise any kind of alarm. Trying to avoid this awareness by governments is futile. The only way to avoid this awareness would be to keep your money in a box under your mattress. In other words, I still don't understand the concern. Secondly, you were very vague in describing the role of Dennis. You told me he's your partner, and he has his role. Danijela, I already assumed THAT. What I was asking is exactly WHAT does he do? Where is he, in Russia? Spain? What's his connection in all this? What is his last name? I also did not understand why you allow this security company to dictate which banks you must use. Do you have an email address for them? If it is necessary for me to travel to Spain, I would like to contact them and start laying some preliminary groundwork. Do you have a phone number where I can contact you? I think all of this might be easier if we could speak directly. Sincerely, Lewd Danijela Djuric Sent : Tuesday, August 24, 2004 1:29 PM Dear Lewis, I have mentioned to you on several occasion that we are having problem with our government here and they are trying all means to bankrupt Mr. Mikhail due to the fear that he might be supporting small political parties against the present governmemt; this is the main reason you would have noticed our being closed about this deal not allowing any third party involvement so that the movement of this fund will be done as quite as possible. Avoiding the government is the hitch we are trying to avoid based on my statement you mentioned. Dennis Anatoly like I said is my partner and is not like I am hiding anything about him, we all use to be in Yukos before until the case of Yukos was blown out of proportion by the government Mr. Mikhail then ask some of us to lay low while his detention last. He is in Moscow and I am in St. Petersburg. I have told you that you cannot call me as I do now want the governemnt to know that I have any outside correspondence with anybody out the country that is why I have maintained the use of email ever since. There have been an understanding between the company and Yukos, as it will not be possible to move the entire amount directly into your account in Malaga without the questioning of the Spanish government, this security company will be responsible to the cover document to back the source of the fund when such question are asked. You cannot contact the security company because they don't have any information about you so they will not attend to you, Yukos will have to advice them first before they can attend to you, given you the email is not the problem. I hope I make myself clear to you. [Crystal] Regards, Danijela Lewd Noogie Danijela, As always, it was good to find your email in my inbox this morning. I have something here for your inbox today. Danijela, there's something you should consider. If you are concerned about the government being aware of you having outside contact with foreigners, you should be concerned about email as well. The technology for governments to monitor email has existed for some time. However, other than sending smoke signals, I suppose that contact by phone or email is our only option. To show my sincerity in pursuing this transaction (and you), why don't I come to St. Petersburg to meet with you in person. My Russian visa is current and I could be there by day after tomorrow. I know some quiet, out-of-the-way cafes where we could meet and work out the details in total seclusion. It would also be ideal for getting to know one another better. It's so difficult to get a real 'feel' of a person by email, don't you think? Besides, something big has come up that you could help me take care of; I can fill you in once I get there. I'll go ahead and make reservations for day after tomorrow. I'll have to juggle my work schedule here but I think I can manage it. Try to let me know early today if this works for you. Affectionately, Lewd Lewd Noogie Danijela, Something occurred to me this afternoon as I have been waiting for your response to my last email - since our time difference is only an hour or two different (I believe St. Petersburg is just an hour ahead of Latvia), could we conduct our correspondence earlier in the day? I always have to wait until the next day before I have any response from you. I don't see why we can't communicate several times a day, do you? By the way, do you have Instant Messaging on your computer? That might be even better. Something else I was wondering - how, as a Yugoslav national, did you end up in Russia working for Yukos? Obviously you speak Russian, so I imagine that was an asset, and your English is excellent as well. Do you speak any other languages? I have always been attracted to bright women, and your looks certainly don't hurt any! I am more convinced than ever that I need to come to St. Petersburg so that we can spend some time together. Most sincerely, Lewd [I'm beside myself waiting to find out if she'll let me come to St. Petersburg. Judging from her answer, I guess not.] Danijela Djuric Sent : Wednesday, August 25, 2004 7:42 PM Subject : Enough of your question Dear Lewis, I truely beleive I am not in an examination hall with you as my examiner. I have told you all that need to be done and the time factor that goes with it. If you truly are interested I assisting me, then you can proceed with it. I have told you how tight things are for me and how my movement has to be retricted due to the circumstance surounding me at the moment, as I am not allowed to move or travel, which is why I am planning to flee without the knowledge of the government officials. I cannot communicate several times a day as you want because I have to be conscious about the security operations here to avoid being traced, I have to monitors the periods I send replys and when I get on the internet. I have been indoors for so long based on the advice of my agents, and I cannot leave here until I am ready to leave Russia. I stayed in England for 14 years and I beleive that helped my English, I understand Russia also and I beleive you do not have any problem also with that. I truely hope that you are sincerely willing to assist. I hope to read a favourable response from you. Regards, Danijela Lewd Noogie Danijela, I was confused by your hostile response. I guess we had better get something straight. The last two emails I sent: a) warned you that email could be monitored, b) asked if I could come to St. Petersburg to visit you in person, c) asked if we could correspond earlier in the day, and, d) complimented you on your language ability. Now, if in your mind I am treating you as if I were an 'examiner', then I think you have the wrong attitude and the wrong partner. These are relatively benign issues and I see no reason why you would take such offense. What's going to happen when this thing really starts to progress? Am I allowed no questions, no idle chit-chat? I don't understand this change in your attitude; tell me, is PMS rearing it's ugly head again? Is there a full moon over Moscow tonight? I have made it very clear from the start that I am willing to do anything necessary to help you, have consistently tried to reassure you of this, and still you challenge my commitment because I ask a few questions. What happened to our agreement regarding complete transparency? No, Danijela, it is not I who needs to decide if I am '...sincerely willing to assist'. YOU need to make a decision - if you can't handle a few of my questions now and then, then you need to let me know and we will part ways, no harm done. Lewd [Nothing from Danijela for 3 days now. Have I pushed the wrong button?] Lewd Noogie Danijela, I presume that since I haven't heard from you in 4 days now that you are no longer interested in having me help you. I would have hoped that you would have had the courtesy to inform me of this decision instead of just leaving me hanging out here. I guess you weren't so serious about this after all. Thanks a lot. Lewd [First time I've ever had to fight my way back into a scam! Gonna have to get tough with this one...] Lewd Noogie Danijela, The more I think about this, the more upset I get. This is the same kind of crap you guys used to pull during the cold war. The fact that you do not have the common decency to inform me that you no longer want my help irritates me to no end. I don't think a response of some kind on your part should be too much to ask, do you? I myself am not prepared to terminate my participation in this transaction and I would strongly recommend that you get back to me immediately stating your willingness to continue. Otherwise I shall be forced to take stronger measures. Luv, Lewd [She's back! Does Lewd know how to handle the ladies or what!] Danijela Djuric Sent : Monday, August 30, 2004 11:59 AM Subject : Making it very clear Dear Lewis, I do not mean to upset you, but I have to let you know something very clear in my proposal to you that I truly intend to complete it with you, but the way we headed never showed any sign of conclusion or serious on both sides. If the strong measures you intend to take was to expose us, then I have to appeal to you not to do that because so doing would tarnish the image of highly placed personal here and this I do not wish. If you truly want us to continue then we should go by the simple instruction that we have laid down, which we have carefully studied and discovered would be our only way out. You have to meet with the security company agents whom will tell you what and how to go about the structure of getting the fund into the account that will be newly opened by you and allow for safe keeping of the fund, this I hope you will adhere to and please I have to appeal to you that the area of any relationship with me should hold until after the transaction is completed - business before pleasure. I have to also stated that you can hold any discussion with me also for my safety, I have to also make this know now because of my previous explanation - I Appeal again. Regards, Danijela. Lewd Noogie Danijela, It was never my intention to expose you. What I meant by stronger measures was to come to St. Petersburg and try and reason with you in person. Alright, I will stay focused. Strictly business from now on, no more fooling around, no more trying to chase you or innuendos or anything of that nature. Strictly business. Do you have nice legs? Ok, you haven't really layed out a detail plan to me, or any kind of timetable or schedule. You mentioned in your first letter about having to complete this before your boss gets out of jail on bail but I don't see much chance of that happening in the near future. How do I get in touch with these guys from the security company? You didn't want to give me their contact address before. How are we going to do this now? Tell me what the plan is and let's get started. Lewd Danijela Djuric Sent : Monday, August 30, 2004 6:32 PM Dear Lewis, What I need from you now is a scanned photopage of your international passport and your telephone number as this are some of the information about you that I will submit. As soon as I receive it, I will make further arrangement for the security company to meet with you, for safety reason I cannot disclose their address, when you are ready arrangement will be made for you to meet with them in Spain. I wait your response. Danijela. Lewd Noogie Danijela, Something strikes me as strange here. You and I are partners in this but you can't tell me anything about the security company for safety reasons? Safety from whom? From me? When will I be allowed to know these details? Danijela, we agreed to be open and honest with each other at the beginning of this deal and I feel I'm still in the dark on so much. I have my own security concerns and I like to know the details in advance. You say I should send you my passport details so that you can 'submit' them. Submit them to who? Submit them for what? After you submit them then what happens? Am I supposed to show up in Spain to meet people unknown to me for some unspecified purpose? And by the way, what is your bust size? Look, either we're partners in this or we're not. I'm not going to be some dumb pawn in this thing who just does what he's told and is not allowed to ask questions. No way. Now either tell me what we're going to do and why or please have the courtesy to tell me you don't require my involvement anymore. Lewd Danijela Djuric Sent : Tuesday, August 31, 2004 5:42 PM Subject : OPEN Dear Lewis, I have told you and I have to be very open to you as ever. If you know you cannot go to Spain, then you shold let me know, and if you are willing to assist in the payment of the back taxes, let me know then because out of the $2.5M, we have already paid $2M leaving a balance of $500,000 yet to be paid, if you can assist us in the payment, let me know. The fund in Spain could still wait. We have an agreement with them (security company) not to expose their location to avoid being trace by th Russian government and this is what we have been following. I can only release their information to you when you are ready to leave, so that you can get across to them, I hope I am clear with this. The reason I have to forward your passport copy to them is because they have never met you and it is important for them to have it so that they will recognise you when you arrive. So it depends on your to know what to do to get this deal concluded in due course. I hope to read from you. Danijela. Lewd Noogie Danijela, Who said I can't go to Spain? I can go to Spain. Look, I can make arrangements to be in Spain sometime in the next two weeks. I'm scheduled to visit a hotel in Kazakhstan next week and that may be hard for me to get out of this late. If there is a concern about the Russian government tracing the security company, then I think both of us should take every precaution. I believe I told you about the ability of governments to monitor email. I am extremely hesitant to attach a scan of my passport to you under these circumstances, and I would propose an alternate solution. Contact the security company and have them send me a photo of the individual(s) that will be meeting me at the airport in Spain. Instruct them to have a sign with my name on it; if the individual at the airport with the sign is the same as the individual in the photograph, I will approach him. If it is someone else, I will find a hotel and contact you and we'll work out the next step. I don't think we can be too careful under the circumstances. If this is acceptable to you, I will see what I can do to postpone my Kazakhstan trip and begin finalizing arrangements for travel to Spain. Lewd Lewd Noogie Danijela, I'm somewhat disappointed that I didn't hear from you yesterday. You expect immediate replies from me and I expect the same from you. Please try to be more prompt in your correspondence. I don't see any latitude for complacency in a deal of this size. Lewd Lewd Noogie September 3, 2004 Danijela, my love, you've been a bad girl! I was somewhat concerned when I sensed an evasiveness is some of your responses to me, even after we had agreed upfront that we would be completely honest with each other. And then I couldn't understand why you would be so touchy about me asking any kind of questions. I mean, with a deal of this magnitude I think it only natural that I would want as much detail as possible about what was going on. But I really get upset about being ignored. It would have been a simple matter for you to show me the courtesy of letting me know you don't want my help, instead of just ignoring me. So easy, Danijela, and we could have parted amicably, both with the understanding that sometimes these things just don't work out. It was made worse by the fact that, after seeing your picture, the lights had come on in the house of love. Yes, I was yours for the taking. But no more. I've done a little 'investigating', shall we say, and I'm verrrrry disappointed in you. Yes, I know what you're up to, and it's not a very nice thing you're doing. Tsk, tsk, Danijela. Yours in the arms of discovery, Lewd [I don't expect to hear anymore from Danijela. At this point the modalities rest entirely in the capable hands of Wanda Bushburn, who has simultaneously been working with Danijela to get Mr. K's money out of Russia. That episode is forthcoming.] |
