I must say you have an interesting and imposing personality. I know this mail is coming rather late.I was waiting for my scanner to be replaced as the one in my office is faulty. I was about to send you a copy of the last group photo i had with my family. Any how by on monday, i would be able to have it fixed.

At this point i would suggest that we draw up a contract agreement and have it signed by both of us stating the agreed percentage. Remember that we share the money after all expenses incurred by both parties has been deducted.your share is 25% of any of the funds we retreive. The meeting with the CBN officials went well.I met with the directors who commended my efforts. i was advised to go to the local bank to pick up some document and official present them with the change of ownership for the accounts. The interesting thing is that one of their senior staff was appointed to assist me to conclude the paper work swiftly.that will commence on monday.

So far everything down hear is proceeding well.I am to see the assistant manager of the local bank on Monday. He already has the necessary instruction to expedite the release of the necessary documents like the certificate of deposit.

But before i go on, i want to ask you to please get a PRIVATE fax number where i can send the document.

Without this there is no where the bank can proceed with the transaction because they will have to do some dealing with them.

You will also be needed to sign some papers here in Nigeria at the end of the whole process.

I got a reply from someone named Rosewida, supposedly from Morgan's office, and who never learned how to spell.

She says the consignment is in "costody" with them, and to call the head of "Customer Servise" in order to have the "protocal officer" pick me at the airport.

More important, they require the sum of 14,560 "euroes" to settle some "dumorage" charges.

I am sure you must have accounted for these expenses, so please let me know what our provisions are. I remember you mapped 10% of the funds for expenses, so this will be a great time to use them.

They also need to know the deposit number. I don't believe you have given it to me yet.

My passport should be back by the end of this week. I will let you know as soon as I have it. Please email me the documents, since I do not have a secured and SUBLIMINABLE fax line yet, and I fear for the confidentiality of all related documents.

You still have not answered my question: how are we going to get the money for the demurrage (by the way, that is the correct word) charges? Unless you have already thought a way to raise that amount, we will have to pull our resources together. I am open to suggestions. Like you said, nobody can accuse me of not being serious and commited to this business.

This is a big change in our plans. I have given this new development a lot of thought, and I have good news and bad news for you, and bad news for your associates.

The good news is, I may be able to raise most of the required amount, perhaps the whole sum. My family owns some very valuable old paintings, including the only existing copy of the Mona Lisa, and I can probably borrow some money out of them.

The bad news for us is, I will have to travel to Elbonia to make the arrangements, and this will delay our business for a couple of weeks. I need to find a suitable investor, contact the Louvre and tell them the bad news, and go to Amsterdam from there.

Tha bad news for your partners is: this will cost money. Since I am now financing the operation, I will expect a higher part of the funds. I require my participation to increase to 40%. Discuss this with them.

Please let me know your decision as soon as possible. According to the consulate, my passport has already been sent back, and I should receive it on Monday. If you agree to my conditions, I will start making travel arrangements right away.
