This scambait appears to still be going after a year!
Perhaps the scammer saw "Glen Garry Glen Ross" and has been combing his files for stale, but promising leads.
Lonslo Tossov, ex-KGB, is a valued Foreign Office asset who figures in many exploits, more recently: SOCIAL ENGINEERING, IT DIDN'T JELL HOW ARE THINGS IN MBALONGA and LAST-MINUTE WITHDRAWAL.
His contributions to Foreign Office group projects include A REAL CHARLIE, THE SCAMMISH ARMADA , UNITED WE LAUGH, HOW THE WEST WAS WON and others too numerous too mention.
He also acts in an advisory capacity, as in GO SPEED RACER.
When not wasting a scammer's time, Lonslo can often be found at Annie's Bar, nursing a flaming custard.

From: richard3mullen@yahoo.com.my Dear Sir/Ma, I am Mr. Richard Mullen the Assistant Director, Inspection Unit in Heathrow Airport,London.During my recent withheld package routine check at the Airport Storage Vault,I discovered an abandoned shipment from a Diplomat and when scanned, it revealed an undisclosed sum of money in two Metal Trunk Boxes weighing approximately 25kg each. The consignment was abandoned because the Contents of the consignment was not properly declared by the consignee as "MONEY" rather it was declared as personal effect to avoid interogation and also the inability of the diplomat to pay for the London Non Inspection charges. Each of the boxes will contain more than $1 Million to $1.5 Million and the consignment is still left in our Storage House here at the Heathrow Airport,London till date. The details of the consignment including your EMAIL ADDRESS,NAME and an ENVELOP contains PAPERWORK tagged on the Metal Trunk boxes. However, to enable me confirm that you are the actual recipient of this consignment as the assistant director of the Inspection Unit, I will advise you reconfirm the following information:
Your Full Name to enable me cross check if it corresponds with the address on the official documents. Please note that this consignment is supposed to have been returned to the London Treasury Department as unclaimed delivery due to the delays in concluding the clearance processes so as a result of this, I will not be able to receive your details on my official email account. So in order words to enable me cross check your details,I will advise you send the required details to my private email address" richard_mulllen@yahoo.com.my " for quick processing and response.Once I receive your details, I can get everything concluded within 2 -3 working days upon your acceptance and proceed to your address for delivery with the assistance of a diplomat. Lastly, be informed that the reason I have taken it upon myself to contact you personally about this abandoned consignment is because I want us to transact this business and I will get some money since the consignment has not yet been returned to the London Treasury Department after being abandoned by the diplomat so immediately the confirmation is made, I will pay for the London Non Inspection Fee and arrange for the boxes to be delivered to your doorstep after all arrangements have been perfected.I will like to have a COMPERSATION of 10% of the total money for my effort .I need your assurance before I proceed futher. I am still on inspection for the week, just email me and make sure you include your mobile number so that I can give you a call. Reply to my email address for further information in details.
I wait to hear from you urgently if you are still alive It's been a while since we've seen a mention of the classic "two Metal Trunk Boxes"! Lonslo Tossov

August 21, 2012 Dear Mr Mullen Sorry for the delay, the Olympics have been first priority here as you might imagine. However we paid off the last of the native help a day or so ago, with just a few spoons and shower curtains missing from the Athlete's Village, too. No doubt gone south, with some third world johnnies. But to get back to these modalities: I am confused, I thought I was expected to claim the consignment from the UK? Is the financial saving really that much? I have my assistant on standby in readiness for this and we are eager to get going. If he uses his moped he can cut through the traffic and get to Heathrow in a few hours. Kindly reply quickly, as I know you chaps can be a bit slow in organising things. TOSSOV Richard Mullen

Sent: Wednesday, 14 August 2013 Dear Mr Mullen This delay is very irksome. Are you serious or not? It has been over a month since we last heard from you. Actually a year! If we can arrange and delivery a royal baby in that time I would have thought sorting out some trifling paperwork details your end would have been a doddle. Be that as it may, I have now got new phone number and look forward to hearing from you. As before you can ask for Irma Wanquer if I am not around. She will be on holiday shortly and so if you miss her then her temporary replacement will be Yusa Pillok. Kind expedite matters from now on in as I am off shortly to attend the Commonwealth Conference on Indigent Finance Personnel. Why do I have to despatch staff to Amsterdam by the way? I thought the consignment was in London?? TOSSOV

If you want to travel to Amsterdam or to dispatch staff to Amsterdam, the start must travel with the money. As soon as I hear from you, I will give you more information in details. Sept 11 Dear Mr Mullen It has been so long since I have heard back from you that I thought something was amiss. I am confused somewhat. If you are based at London Heathrow , where you first said the trunk boxes were in the airport storage vault, then why will we have to pay to have the consignment delivered from Amsterdam? Am I missing something? Why have the items been transferred out of the country? Let me know btw the way if you and your wife or doxy would like a room in Broadmoor as we have some accomodation here available on an invitation-only basis. Perhaps when the items finally arrive and these little hic-cups are settled, a little celebration party might be in order. My hospitality manager there, Mr Peter Sutcliffe, will give you the reception you deserve. He may be a Yorkshire man but knows how to throw a ripping time. TOSSOV more to come? |
